Тема : « Climate».
Цели урока : активизация употребления лексики предыдущих уроков; развитие навыков диалогической речи; развитие навыков аудирования с пониманием основного содержания текста.

Ход урока.
Организационный момент.

Фонетическая зарядка.
Most people in the world have some sayings about weather. For example, some people say that if you see cows lying at the top of the hill, it will be a good day. Today we’re going to learn some English rhymes about the weather. Firs listen to them. Which of them have you heard before? Do we have the similar sayings in Russian? Listen to the sayings and repeat them after the speaker.
Choose one of them and right it down. Your hometask will be to learn it by heart.
A sunshiny shower
Won’t last an hour.
Rainbow at night
Is the sailor’s delight;
Rainbow at morning,
Sailor, take warning!
When the days begin to lengthen,
Then the cold begins to strengthen.

What’s the weather like today? Is it warm or cold? Is it sunny? Is it Windy? Is it fine day today?
Развитие навыков диалогической речи.
Weather can be very changeable. Listen to the dialogues and say which one is for good weather and which one is for bad weather.
Ученики слушают два диалога и отвечают на вопрос.
Read both dialogues after the speaker.
Read the dialogues in pairs and I’ll come round and listen.
Слабые ученики читают диалоги.
You should make up the new dialogues.
Средние составляют свои.
Make your own dialogues, using the following combinations:
Cool and wet What a hot day !
Warm and sunny What a cold day !
Hot and stuffy What a rainy day !
Wet and foggy What a windy day !
Cool and windy What a sunny day !
Try and act out the dialogues.
Сильные разыгрывают диалоги в парах.
I.
- It’s a fine day today, isn’t it?
- Yes, it’s nice and bright this morning.
- Yes. Much better than yesterday. It’s good to see the sun again.
- Let’s hope it will keep fine for the weekend.
II.
- What a nasty day, isn’t it? It has been raining since yesterday morning.
- They say it is going to get even colder.
- Oh, no! I hate cold and rain.
- So do I. Let’s hope it won’t last.
Развитие навыков аудирования с пониманием основного содержания текста.
You listen to the weather forecast every day, don’t you? Today we’re going to listen to it. Peter will be our weatherman. He has prepared the weather forecast to you for tomorrow. Listen to him attentively and draw the following signs.
На доске нарисованы знаки, изображающие снегопад, дождь и т.д. и название городов, употребляющихся в тексте.
Good morning, and here is the weather forecast for tomorrow.
Moscow will be cold with snow. In Belgorod it will be a wet day with heavy showers that will move to Voroneg. In Gubkin will be dry but cloudy. In Korocha the day will be bright and clear.
In Shebekino it may be windy in the evening.

Your hometask will be to learn one of ours rhymes and read the dialogues.( Слабые ученики).
Your hometask will be to learn one of ours rhymes and one of the dialogues.( Средние ученики).
Your hometask will be to learn one of ours rhymes and make up your own weather forecast. ( Сильные ученики).

And now I want you to draw your attitude to our lesson, using the weather forecast signs.
Rainy- bad lesson.
Cloudy – not very good.
Sunny- I like it very much.
